Hanji, the Korean traditional handmade paper, is made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree, known as "Dak" in Korea. This paper mulberry has long fibers consisting of cellulose, making it strong and resistant to tearing. The structure of Hanji is created by a criss-cross pattern of fibers formed by shaking them back and forth in a bamboo screen. These properties and shape have remained intact for centuries, and even millennia. An example of this longevity is the Buddhist Dharani Sutra, "Mugujeonggwang Daedaranigyeong," estimated to have been printed between 706 and 751, which is the world's oldest woodblock print and was made using Hanji 1,300 years ago.

Currently, Hanji is being utilized in various ways in handicraft arts due to its unique and organic texture. It is used in calligraphy, drawing, lanterns, jars, wedding invitations, dolls, wallpapers, gift wrapping, interior and exterior design, special books, scrapbooking, and more. Hanji is made of plant fibers that are harmless to the body and is eco-friendly as it uses non-wood pulp and renewable plant fibers every year.

This Hanji comes in a size of 91cm x 20m, with a weight of 45 gsm and a pale brown color. It has a semi-rough texture, is PH neutral, acid-free, unbleached, and made from 100% paper mulberry (Dak) trees' inner bark fiber. The paper has clear and distinct natural mulberry unbleached strands of fiber texture, such as kozo fiber, dragon cloud, and unryu tissue, making it suitable for wallpaper, window covers, shoji screens, paper screens, and more. The packaging is rolled, and the product is made in South Korea.
